Anne has been leading dance holidays at La Roane since 2003.

La Roane is a beautiful 20 acre woodland site near the little medieval town of St Antonin

in the Lot et Garonne region of France.

The centre is run by Nigel Shamash,our delightful host,who was the founder of the

Spanish centre, Cortijo Romero.

The food is vegetarian, lovingly prepared and presented by Enzo, everyone's favourite chef.

Local wine is served with dinner. 

There is a swimming pool to relax by when we are not dancing, table tennis to play or

bicycles to borrow and explore the countryside.

Nigel takes us on excursions to neighbouring villages, for a picnic by the river,

or to see nearby caves as well as a visit to the local Sunday market in St Antonin. We often have a canoeing trip too which is great fun. 

We dance in a converted barn and there is accommodation for 18 dancers with a

few single rooms.  We usually have two holidays at la Roane a year in June

and September, but we have decided in 2010 to just have the one holiday in June

The dates will be June 5th - 12th 2010
